Japanese Anime, The Early Years circa 1933
For the first time, I am truly amazed at finding something on YouTube. This isn’t just random junk people threw on there to get their 15 minutes. Notice the American styling in the cartoon though, looks way different than the Anime you see on Adult Swim nowadays, huh?
From my understanding, it wasn’t really until the 1960’s when the “Anime” styling really took off with Tetsuwan Atom, or Astro Boy, as it was known in the U.S. Man, I could just write a whole blog about this stuff.
